Petal Length vs. Petal Width

In the graph below, I compared the relationship between the length and width of an Iris flower petal. After plotting, I found they had a positively linear relationship. As the length of the petal increases, the width proportionally increases as well. Thinking ahead, I presume that if the variables were switched, the relationship between them would be the same.
